Back to Basics

The crushing weight of reality. Or so it seems. Wrapped in silken cords of nothingness you stand on the edge of a sweeping panorama that seems to stretch beyond the horizon of your aching eye. Come now. This is a ramble run. You can dream of Mustapha the Lost. Of what he would say. You can imagine this and that. No time to stop or think. Just let the keyboard fall to the rhythm of your punches. Dynamic realities. At the cutting edge you are questing, thrusting forward; the events of the past lay the tracks in front of you. Sure you can fly ghost like through this landscape. Not caring for the beginning or the end. Not bothered about the laws of physics which request a set a wheels on tracks pinned to the ground, obeying the laws of gravity and motion.

Make it seem magical. Almost. But then reality bites. Truth bites even harder and you are compelled to look all around before taking a step forward. Sure, this seems like eagle play. Soaring high in the sky, centimeter resolution pinpointing the rat on the ground. The swooping fall into the kill.

Perspectives.

Reboot. Reload.

Enough. Time to stop this glitter parade. Time enough to live and let die, all that which is irrelevant to the task at hand.

Hello Jimbo. I said.

Hey bro. He said. So you’re back?

More than ever friend, more than ever.

Mmmmm. Good. So where were we.

I exited stage through that unscripted trap door when I fell into one of your songs and bought into your reality of the debacle that was the ‘60s. Bin tryin to articulate a story about what happened. But what do you know. Most of the pieces have disappeared. Or at least my sight of them has. In any case my speech is rusty.

Simply does it. Jimbo said. Back to basics.

I pulled out my kindergarden texts and reviewed the material again. Back to basics. I echoed.

Hmmm ok kinda vague and disoriented: reality not= truth? wht is truth & wht is reality other than wht we perceive them to be. They could be the one and same thing u know.

Wht do u c in Jimbo anyways? misery lover and converter to misery love to boot. At least was.

Gravity is reality. Truth is the ability to transcend it. We may personally perceive the "truth" of gravity while denying the truth of the ability to walk on water and call it a lie. However, it (the ability to walk on water) still remains. Whether we accept it / believe it or not.

Jimbo? What I see in him? Postive inspiration in a negative dress. :-) Like sheep in wolves' clothing.
